Young Traffic Offenders Program (YTOP) is a hospital-based program with several contributing health workers. To keep those health care workers and our YTOP attendees safe during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all YTOP classes are cancelled through the month of May. At this time, rescheduling is not available. Sentencing courts have been notified. All attendees scheduled to attend classes through the month of May will be notified when rescheduling resumes. Registration for future classes is currently unavailable due to the uncertainty of hospital and health care worker access. Please refer to our website for updates. Any development or changes will be shared as soon as they are available.

YTOP is a six hour program from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on select Fridays at one of two area hospitals. Participants are asked to arrive by 8:45 a.m. for check-in and must present their photo ID. Attendees should bring lunch or $5-$8 to purchase lunch in the cafeteria.

The cost to attend the class is $70. The $70 YTOP registration fee will appear on your credit card statement as a charge from The Research Foundation. Payment must be received at the time of registration. Class registration is limited and is provided on a first come, first serve basis. Registrations are not accepted after the Wednesday prior to your class.

No-shows and those participants rescheduling fewer than 10 days prior to their scheduled class date will be charged an additional $35 rescheduling fee. You must call 816-276-4900 to reschedule. Rescheduling cannot be completed online. There will be a $25 processing fee if a cancellation is requested.
