Regional doctor of physical therapy students awarded scholarships from The Research Foundation

KANSAS CITY, Mo., (June 7, 2019) – The Research Foundation recently awarded 43 scholarships to students in the physical therapy programs at Rockhurst University, University of Kansas and University of Missouri.

Scholarship recipients attending Rockhurst University include Cesar Aldana, Courtney Armentrout, Nic Arnone, Kristin Brewer, Jensynn Deckard, Jeffrey Doolittle, Claire Dull, Todd Gallagher, Salim Gumati, Christina Haring, Alexandra Hill, Kayla Lapointe, Chandler LeValley, Matthew Maasen, Kassi Manternach, Kate Menges, Erin Murray, Julia Soap and Justin Vann.

Scholarship recipients attending the University of Kansas include Jay Alexander, Megan Bowlin, Cathleen Fanning, Amanda Frakes, Neil Glaser, Sierra Grimm, Scott Hoffman, Callie Lane, Jessica Lemus, Megan Lockwood, Gabriella Mengistu, Jackson Mores, Moira Myers, Alexander Smith and Kelli Stallbaumer.  

Scholarship recipients attending the University of Missouri-Columbia include Jason Cook, Christina Evers, Clare Goldkamp, Marco Machado, Abigail Moore, Jayme Reynolds, Hayley Stiers, Mitchell Vandel and Baylie Wilson.

Scholarships were awarded in the amounts of $1,000.

Applicants must be in their first year of their doctor of physical therapy programs and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible to apply.
