KANSAS CITY, Mo., (Jun. 19, 2024) – The Research Foundation is continuing its decades-long support of nursing careers by awarding $284,456 in scholarship to students accepted into the traditional and transfer nursing programs at Avila University, Research College of Nursing, and William Jewell College. The foundation’s commitment to nursing is also reflected in its scholarships for accelerated nursing students, financial assistance for nursing students in emergency situations, and funding of white coat and commitment jackets.

These scholarships embody our dedication to nurturing talent and ensuring excellence in health care for generations to come."
Scholarships were provided to 54 students in the three nursing programs.
Avila University nursing students were awarded $50,750, Research College of Nursing students were awarded $212,206, and William Jewell College nursing students were awarded $21,500 in scholarship support. Of the 54 students awarded, 13 attend Avila University, 35 attend Research College of Nursing, and six attend William Jewell College.
